SAFETY FIRST!
Boating Safety is Crucial!
Being safe for yourself, your party, and your surroundings is imperative! Safety is our utmost priority therefore, we have created this to educate our renters on proper boating safety. All of our policies, regulations, and requirements can be found on your rental paperwork. This section is solely for links to websites and videos that we have found that provide information or demonstrations on safe practice and helpful safety guidelines.
License & Certificates
If you were born on or after January 1, 1982, and do not yet have a boating license, you can complete the Official Pennsylvania Boating Safety Course Online.
We ask that you be sure to review and educate yourself on the State boating regulations, also known as NASBLA Boating Safety Education Certificate. You can also review the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission handbook. Lastly, you can review the Unpowered Boat Regulations tips and Powered Boat Regulations tips.
Education & Safety
RentalBoatSafety.com – here you can find educational videos that demonstrate general boating safety practices. This website can help you quickly learn in less than 20 minutes many key aspects of boat rental safety. You will NOT receive a valid NASBLA approved boating certificate by reviewing this.
